I’m pretty sure it was .97…there was a question exactly like that one on a practice mc.

A

@catchinginfinity how did u get .97? i think i know what pratice question ur talking about

@Rurouni nope.

I’ll explain again. It was a two tail test looking for difference so your null was 0 and your alternative was does not equal 0. If your p value is .028, you need to have a confidence level great than .028 in order to fail to reject (and thus include 0 in the interval). So the answer was 1 - .03.

A

@Rurouni - It said .028 was not equal to, so you had to divide it by two and get .014. .97=.015 on each side, so that was the smallest value that included .014.

@Kdawg18358 - Method 1 didn’t make sense…what did you write?

Does anyone know if we’ll get in trouble for talking about answers on here? /:

im pretty srue you need to the lower p value

Q

@Rurouni - You’re thinking backwards, .015>.014.

btw im cautious, so can collegevboard check the forums and get your score canceled fro talkin bout it?

Does anyone want to start a Tinychat or something?

@catchinginfinity do you know where the similar practice question is? i swear it was the lower value.

whats tiny chat @catchinginfinity

@Rurouni - I’ll try to find it, I haven’t thrown anything out yet!

ill look also

@Rurouni <a href=“Education.com | #1 Educational Site for Pre-K to 8th Grade”>Education.com | #1 Educational Site for Pre-K to 8th Grade; number 14 is similar

i found it, its number 27. 2007 ap stats mc

@HawkAce get your arrogant attitude out of here please! It said one day PER week OVER three weeks so it would be (2/5)^3. The question would NOT have 15 days as the denominator BECAUSE it wasn’t 3 days OVER three weeks it was ONE day PER week OVER three weeks. Before you go around demeaning people at least have your facts straight man.
