Applying to Tish for Screenwriting/Film Study.

Thanks a lot :)

Well, since you are applying to Tisch, the admissions committee will not look at your raw stats as much as if you were applying to another college. Most of getting into Tisch has to do with your Portfolio.

Well, how are my raw stats for getting into NYU in general.

Your stats are average, for the most part. You didn’t list your unweighted GPA, though. At 1360, your true SAT score isn’t bad at all, really, but it’s falling within the average.

As for Tisch, the portfolio is definitely the most important part of the application. Your ECs, since they are mostly geared towards the arts, will also really help you.

I’m not very good with GPA’s and such. All I know is my two different GPA’s are 93 or 94 and 112.01

Hm, well, it depends on what grades you’ve gotten. But if your unweighted GPA is a 93 or 94, then you’re probably close to a 3.7, which is absolutely fine for most of the NYU schools.
