What was the yield difference between 2013 RD and 2014 RD? Because that’s probably what you should be wanting to know more than anything, as numbers can be pretty easily manipulated by ED.

Regardless, pretty good statistical progress for a year.

Phuriku, you are way WAY too obsessed, but I agree that information would be useful.

Might I add that the entering class is beautiful both inside and out, as always, and are super nice to boot  Admissions has good taste, not only in choosing the finest of the finest but also in keeping out all the obsessive too-serious-for-their-own-good jerks.

I am glad to see a more diverse student body, esp. the increase in Pell Grant recipients. I wonder if Monty has been deeply involved in this since he’s been the champion of making Higher Ed more affordable.

Monty has been very active to reach out to undergrad students and Evanston; most research university Presidents don’t do this or are too busy to do. What do you guys think of him?

He’s terrific. I’ve seen him at more school events than I can count, and he’s definitely done a lot to improve relations with Evanston. It’s amazing he has the time to do all these things and still teach, do research, head multiple committees, etc.

You forgot one thing: being the President :)

Haha yes, but some of those things make up being president.
