I don’t think it was a fluke either. Besides, if you screen shot it you could EASILY appeal it if it was a “fluke”. I wish I could have accidentally seen mine.

@panchitus
man you were able to get through all that info? mine crashed right before i could get to the financial aid reward. :-w

@domnomial The same as everyone else’s, I assume: Function Unavailable

Just an FYI: UCSD has a history of having a wonky admissions process. A few years back they sent out acceptance letters to even people that were rejected.

BUT… if you were admitted this year I’m sure you’re still admitted because some people who got to see their apps did end up receiving rejections this year.

Now I’m getting a “Service Temporarily Unavailable” error.
Hopefully that means they’re updating them right now?

Edit: just went away and its back up with the same old message.

my decision is still pending but when i click housing it changed to this

"Housing Application

The address above is what we currently have as your Summer Contact Information. This address is the address we use if we mail you housing contract information.
Student:
User ID / PID: "

than there is a continue button that led me to be able to apply for housing

@sonic23, I am getting the same housing message.

Ummm mine JUST changed to that… That SEEMS like an ACTUAL sign…

@collegedropout1 do you think this means our apps are being reviewed now? because before it would say that because of my admissions status i couldn’t view the page

I just got this housing message:

"Housing Application

No Housing Application Fee required. You may apply today before you decide what university to attend.

You will have completed the housing application process when you arrive at the Confirmation Page.

Housing information is communicated via email. If our email attempt to contact you is unsuccessful, we will be forced to use the summer contact information listed below. You may change that address here, but please be aware that changing your Summer Contact Information here does not change/ update the permanent address the Admissions Office has for you. "

But 10 mins ago it was saying my admissions status wouldn’t allow it.

Does this mean I’m in?

It still says “we are currently reviewing applications …”

@Taylorsams13 I hope so! lol the portal has been horrible today though so I just don’t know at this point

@sonic23

Hmm, I too have received that message. It might just be a sign…

Looking back at past years’ UC decision threads, things like this were shown to have strong predictive power regarding whether or not one was accepted. Still, I suppose we shouldn’t assume anything. But I’ll do it anyway. :P

My housing message is: The housing application will become available in late-March… which is different than my previous message about my admissions status not allowing it.
Anyone else getting this?

EDIT: never mind. It keeps changing.

@Matt4200 yup thats the one I have idk what it means though.
@Cayton I hope its a good sign! I got super excited when I saw the change, but Im trying not to get too excited, just in case lol

Yeah my housing keeps changing from unavailable to: Housing Application

Housing Application for Fall 2014 - 2015

Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact the Housing Office at 858-534-4010 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 4pm.

I would highly doubt the adcomm is working at 8 pm on a Saturday.

@sonic23 @Cayton - When I first login and click current or permanent address it won’t let me do anything and says system unavailable does it do the same for you?

Maybe they’re sending letters out and don’t want anything changed at the moment ?

It JUST changed back to the mid-march one… But I screen-shot the other message on my app. Damn…

@Matt4200 just checked and yes it says system is unavailable

My housing just changed as well. Weird.
