I sincerely hope that was a joke…a cruel joke.

It is almost April Fools ;)

it’s not April fools yet.

WHAAT…
wow. ok

Let’s see how many dbags post on here they got “admitted” today. :-@

Do you think they will be posted today? I’ve been glued to my computer but nothing yet…

Yeah, today I trust no one.

I think the second batch from last year was released on a friday.

Anyone heard anything yet?

the suspense is killing me! mine isn’t posted yet

Nothing yet still waiting

Just checked mine… Aaaaaaand nothing :/

I don’t think today is the day we have been waiting for. I believe it was the 5th that everyone was expecting decisions.

Nothing for me too. As @TheUnderdog1 said, it should actually be on April 5th, let’s hope they post them sooner.

Wouldn’t it be funny if admissions decided to hold out until april 2 because they didn’t want people getting suspicious if they were posted today? ahah kind of ridiculous, but an interesting thought.

Has anyone’s Housing App status change? Mine still says the following:

“Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact the Housing Office at 858-534-4010 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 4pm.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but apparently this “housing trick” worked for those who got admitted/waitlisted in the past.

@kejun2014 I have the same message as you. Hopefully it changes!

Did not want to believe the housing message trick, but I’m starting to believe it works. Worked for the few who had the status change in the first batch of this thread. Also worked for everyone else who applied in the previous years. Just from speculation, it seems the housing message did not change until 1-3 days prior to the next batch being released.

This “housing trick” has been discussed to death already in this topic and in previous year topics.

Protip: it means nothing.

what’s the housing trick?

Yeah it is BS…do not speculate too much and put others in distress guys!!
As I said right when the first batch came in, I logged in twice in 5 minutes, and I saw two different messages on my housing section…means nothing.

@mr401k (if you choose to believe in it lol) if your housing message says “our records indicate that your admission status will not allow you to blahblah call the housing office during normal weekend hours blahblah” throughout ALL three batches, you’re denied or waitlisted. i applied last year and had no change in my housing message and what do you know, rejection. many of my friends had their housing message change 2-3 days before a new batch of decisions and they ended up getting admitted in that batch. the “good housing message” they had was along the lines of “housing app is temporarily not available. please check back later”.
