<p>i dont think tag is necessarily related to what batch your decision comes out in. the whole thing seems pretty whacky. i didnt tag and got in the first batch.</p>

<p>It’s happened so many times that now when I see a lot of new posts I just think “oh the housing message must have changed”. </p>
<p>I’m just happy I was accepted to UCSB so it’s not as stressful knowing that I am accepted into at least one. My condolences to you who haven’t been accepted anywhere yet. It must be stressful</p>
<p>My daughter has the changed message, too. I didn’t believe any of this housing stuff, but @cidzor makes a great argument. Plus, @cidzor should get admitted simply because of his expert use of the parentheses segments. :)) </p>
<p>So, apparently the bad housing message is
“Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact the Housing Office at 858-534-4010 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 4pm.”

<p>No @srjcengineer, assuming what they are saying is true (and we don’t know that it is true) - but if it is, it may simply mean your batch hasn’t moved forward yet. Stay positive!</p>

<p>My housing message changed. I have a 3.8 GPA, and my major is Russian and Soviet Studies… I’m probably one of, like, three people who applied to transfer with that major, so it’s not very helpful.</p>
