when do you think UCSD will actually post the decisions?

Website is down, does that indicate anything?

@bhav007 thanks. I’m sure you’ll get accepted soon enough!

@randombookie, it always does that around midnight

hopefully tomorrow is the big day guys!!

If they do announce it on the 18th(tomor) what time do you guys think it will be posted?

@HopeOverFear - Between High Noon and 3

I feel like some decisions may come tomorrow but not all…and I feel it’s safe to assume those who didn’t get notified in (if there’s even a batch) tomorrow’s batch are just declined and ucsd is waiting to send them the rejection ? It sucks bc ucsd AND UCI both waited way too long to send the second batch. So ridiculous

If UCSD, Irvine and Davis doesn’t release their admissions decisions tomorrow, or if I get rejected to all of them, then I’ll just attend a State school. I’m done with waiting…

whoa man
whoa
I would seek out counsel from someone you can trust before doing something so drastic.

Haha, the Cal State’s deadline is at the end of this month and if I do end up getting accepted on the very last day then I’ll just cancel my acceptance at the state school.

Yeah, I’m going to SIR to sjsu just to be safe and then if I do get into UCSD, then I’ll cancel my SIR. I’ll lose about $70 but it’s better to be safe than sorry :/

Yeah, exactly my thinking. Especially since SJSU’s Intent to Enroll form takes a couple of days to process.

Anybody planning on attending UCSD after tomorrow, join the UCSD Transfer Fall 2014 Facebook page. There will be lots of info on UCSD Transfer life on there.

okay my housing changed to, “The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu”. Is this a good sign?

@davidyoonn according to previous threads it is a good sign, but you’re going to get a lot of comments after this saying “why did u bring up housing message means nothing there’s no proof blahblah”… but i would rather have that housing message than the other one. if you don’t mind me asking, did you just get the change today or have you had it for some time?

No, it means you got rejected.

UC GPA: 3.47
Major Pre-reqs Completed (Y/N): Y
Intended Major: Economics
TAG?: No
IGETC?: Finished before apply

Housing message did not change
I know my gpa is one of my weakness, due to some unreasonable professor (by saying unreasonable i mean UNREASONABLE) I have a few Cs but rest are basically straight A
Am i screwed?

Lol @smltk1505h is messing with you David. I believe that is the good housing message.

@Athkrnl, why are you being negative? You’re making me more anxious; I have a 3.47 GPA also, and I’m taking my last prereq right now (so I’ll also have finished prereqs (except the ones that don’t articulate). Be optimistic! 3.47 is almost a 3.5, which is still good. The average GPA for this years transfer applicants was a 3.37 according to this site:

EDIT: My housing didn’t change either.

@Athkrnl I am in the same position as you, Econ major with 3.43 GPA, housing message hasn’t changed yet for me either. Be optimistic!!
