<p>@originalvcast I think it has to do with GPA, and the major you applied to. I don’t think UCSD really cares for extracurricular activities or the personal statements. I didn’t do a lot of extra curricular, and I got in with a 3.61 for structural engineering (which is a non impacted major). Was your major impacted? </p>
<p>It appears that the housing trick is legitimate… no wonder it keeps getting brought up year after year.</p>
