I would actually prefer 19, because by then I’ll be on break and done with finals. =p

…That and I’d like to hold on to hope for as long as possible…

I wnat the EA decisions to come out are early as possible so that I’ll know 100% what other places to apply to RD!

drosophyllum: "they like weekends for the release… "
I’m don’t think they particularly favor weekend releases.
For the past two years they’ve released on the 15th and that wasn’t the weekend.

yea last year the 15th wasn’t a weekend

Wow, it really seems they’re behind on the Rec B >.< Mine still isn’t in yet :

last three years dates:
friday-saturday-monday

Ill admit not entirely weekend but too close to ignore the pattern

You might look at the RD dates as well – IIRC they’ve always released online RD decisions on a Saturday.

My son is still waiting for recommendation B to show up also. He was getting a bit concerned. Glad to see he’s not alone.

Everything should be ready by Nov. 21st, unless they did lose some materials

i kind of wish they would release decisions on pi day every year. It’s a little bit sad that that can’t happen this year if they have to do it on a saturday. last year was epic.

does it strike anyone else as slightly intimidating that they’ll finish processing stuff by november 21, and then make decisions in like a month? I think it’s because i still can’t wrap my head around the idea that I’ve actually applied after planning it for so long.

Ahh, they finally got my Secondary School Report + Transcript :D

…and everything is complete :D/ :0!

I know MIT will wait to read your app until your scores are in but what about this situation:

I sent in all required scores already but I listed MIt to be sent my Nov. 2009 SAT scores, which I think i did significantly better on. Will MIT wait on these scores to look at my app even though I already have all NECESSARY scores in?

matt’s “we’re done processing stuff” entry is up. just FYI.

^^ You could email them about it (admissions@mit.edu I think?) if you feel uncomfortable that they don’t know that they might be seeing higher scores from you. They’re very understanding about nervous applicants. =)

S received an email last night from MIT admissions asking him to have the school fax over his missing Rec B by Mon. Nov. 21st. I guess they got to the bottom of the big pile!!

S got one asking for his 2ndary school report. The counselor called today and turns out they had it all along, just in ‘misc’ pile, whatever that is. Glad they have it but here we’ve been checking daily to see if was received/filed :(

Yay everything is processed Now the wait…

^The hard part.
