<p>I think we students tend to put much more emphasis on scores and grades than college adcoms do. Especially on CC, when all we have to go on are stats. Maybe MIT happened to be looking for a MoMoChoy rather than a Stupefy (as far as they could tell about them from a couple essays). Or maybe they were just in a better mood when they read MoMoChoy’s application. Who knows. I wouldn’t say it’s completely messed up, just subjective.</p>
