Where are the accepted people?

haha there has yet to be an accepted to post on the decisions thread

I think what they did is found all the regular CC posters, and rejected them, haha XD

No one got in this year! :D

before i felt sad, now its just hilarious

wait, the guy that built a NUCLEAR REACTOR got in

HOLY SHI*

I’m honored to even be waitlisted…considering I suck at math

rejected
At least I have Dartmouth and Wash U to fall back on.

I was accepted (much to my surprise)!

Does anyone know if they provide a travel grant for visiting during CPW? and do we receive our financial aid notification? with our admission letter?

What the hell? Why is nobody getting in?

Rejected. Oh well, I’m pretty bad at writing essays, so I kind of expected it.

Affe, some people will be offered financial support to visit during CPW – information to come, I imagine.

And financial aid info will come April 1 (http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/apply/deadlines/index.shtml).

Waitlisted. Damn it.

because mit’s acceptance rate is less than 10%?

REJECTED - Oh well - I got into Cornell and Vanderbilt :o) I guess I will wait and see where else I get accepted and rejected.

I really liked MIT - Oh Well - Congradulations to everyone accepted

Didn’t apply, but this is really depressing.

It’s okay, I can always cross-register for the classes I want when I go to Harvard. :)

(Just kidding. I’m not that arrogant.)
I totally expected rejection mostly because… I didn’t call for an interview. Yikes!
I did get into Wellesley though, so I actually already have a ticket to cross-register at MIT. Who knows.

Honestly I had a problem with the dining situation at MIT, so I’m okay not going… It was the only school that allowed 2 gap years rather than one, though, so that’s disappointing. And of course it fit me in many ways, but there were also many ways it didn’t.
It is nerve-wracking to not have any acceptances from HYPSM-esque schools, yet, though. We’ll see how it all goes.

Y’all might find this interesting:

Stats ETC from this year’s decision process

Wow what drugs are the MIT adcoms on…like no one is getting in! I didnt apply but my hopes of HYPS are just completely destroyed.

^Yeah, it’s awful

I meant that in reply to meghnasridhar, but it works here too. :(

Haha, I can’t believe you have my stats memorized :D
