They say they will release decisions in early march, and last year people heard on March 1st. But this year March 1st is on a Saturday. Do you think we can expect to see them release decisions even though it’s the weekend?

@Ijustwannasurf I’m assuming we will either start hearing towards the end of this week or Monday March 3rd. Don’t expect anything to be posted over the weekend.

expect decisions to come out feb. 28. That is what the admissions officer told me this morning. You’re welcome.

^NO.

Pending

Major - International Security and Conflict Resolution

Location -San Diego. I took classes in northern California ten years ago when I first got out of high school, but I believe I will have taken enough courses through SDCCD & Grossmont to push me over the 50% threshold to be considered a local for TAG.

GPA - 3.2; I am a reentry student, my GPA was awful when I re-started school due to the grades I received when I first attended college. I have had a 3.8-4.0 for the last four semesters. :)

IGETC and “Golden Four” completed. I will have an AA-T in Political Science, but that won’t help me for this major. All major pre-reqs completed except for one. The class is only offered at SDSU. I spoke to the head of the department at SDSU and was told that admissions does not count that course against applicants. Students who have taken it MIGHT have priority, but students rarely enter into the major having already taken it.

The wait is killing me!

The suspense is killing me! All my colleges have already responded. Not sweating though. As I already got into to SLO. :slight_smile:

So when I go to check the SDSU web portal and click on Admission Status, and look under Applicant information, there’s a thing called Admission status date. For me, it says Oct 3. Is that when I should expect to hear if I’ve been accepted or not?

@Ijustwannasurf That’s the date you submitted your original application.

Anyone else receive a random email today from CSU Channel Islands inviting you to apply…? They said they have received information that I have applied to an impacted campus and would like to offer me an alternative to consider Channel Islands…I thought I wasn’t in before but this pretty much just confirmed it. Not sure if it was SDSU that sent the info or if it was Cal Poly. What an awful feeling…

SDSU2014: Did you apply to SDSU with an AA-T/AS-T?

@knhofto Yes.

@Sdsu2014

I think the Channel Islands emails is probably to everybody, maybe with certain majors, at certain schools even, that might be more impacted than others. I don’t think it’s any indicator of being accepted or not. I too received that email, applied to Sdsu and cal poly and was recently accepted to cal poly, as a poly sci major. Maybe they are just offering that if you want to go to a non impacted school…ok well, we have looked at your records and here is another option for you to consider. That is what I thought.
