Hi there,
I am planning to transfer to SDSU next fall but I don’t think I will finish all of my math courses. I will have intermediate algebra completed but no calculus. How did you get accepted with no calculus done? Can I transfer to SDSU with only intermediate algebra? Could you please advise?
Thanks

@michy312 did you end up getting in? I’m transferring from Texas. Just submitted my application.

I’m applying from South Carolina… 3.9 GPA, Political Science major. All GE completed and over 60 units by spring. If anyone could advise me or predict my chances I’d appreciate it. Would there be any benefit for applying to a different major?

Hey! @Joogman23, you seem to be really knowledgable about transferring I am kind of in a rut right now. Counselors at my school are very discouraging. How long did it take you to get into UCSB and SDSU, I’m really curious. Your reply would really help. Thanks! And would you have any advice for transferring?
@Peter0001 @wrasssle what kind of advice were you looking for? I found out about UCSB in mid April I believe and SDSU early march.
Peter, If you have an AS-T for the major you are applying for and you are coming from a San Diego CC, then you will just need to complete the AS-T degree for the major you are applying for at SDSU through your CC to be competitive and given priority.
If you have any other questions, let me know .
i have an AS-T in bio from a CC and transfered to chico state but now applied to transfer to sdsu from chico state. i have a 3.17 gpa, chances are lookin slim or good?
@Acc0unt Did you not like Chico State? I applied to Chico and SDSU for Fall 2016 so I’m still waiting on that. And to be honest it’s going to be tough getting into SDSU with a 3.17… Your AS-T will help a little but it’s still going to be tough. Best of luck though!
@stevensp3 did you do the ADT or just apply in the general pool?
@funnyguy17 did you get in?
