<p>My school's counselor said that in 2014 tag system GPA will change for UCI.
minimum gpa is going to be 3.5 or higher not 3.4 anymore.</p>

<p>I don’t know anything for sure, but from last year to this year it went from 3.2 to 3.4. UCSD’s has steadily increased as well, and they’ve now phased it out. I wouldn’t be surprised if UCI will increase again next year.</p>
<p>It’s hard to tell. They probably update it depending on how many applications they get the previous years. I think the fact that UCI raised it to 3.4 will mean less people will apply for UCI TAG since it’s the most strictest one along with UCSD which probably makes it unlikely they’ll raise it again but no one can say with certainty. </p>
<p>I recall seeing the new updated UCI TAg info in the beginning of May. Perhaps check back in May 2014 once they’re done sending out all the admittance letters?</p>
