I was absolutely shocked and more than just happy after I checked my status on myapplication.ucsd.edu, especially after I found out my rejection from UCLA yesterday. I know my SAT score was not that outstanding, and I think I was one of those lucky ones!! I wish my post can really give hopes to students with low SATs, but with lots of other hooks. Remember that SAT score is just one factor! Congrats once again everybody!

Was out of work for a year and a half, without my grandparents we’d be homeless. Put this on my application, though no one died so i’m sure I didn’t get special
challenges/circumstances points.
