2014 Yale RD Hopefuls!

So, with EA decisions in and a bunch of us deferred, I think it's time to create a new thread and finally welcome CC's RD hopefuls!

I love you.

I’m in.

:) Ummm same.

Totally.

I didn’t apply SCEA, but I am applying ED. So what’re you guys planning going to Yale for?

i can’t believe i have to go through another 4 months of wait just to get into ANY school. but deferral is a good sign that our apps were strong, no? :)

Hear Hear!

DEFINITELY, chair. It just means that Yale had so many amazing people that they want to put all the amazing people together and look then.

Come on, people. Less than 4 months to go. We can do this.

I missed the EA deadline, but just sent my app for RD =). I’ll join in on this thread now

yayyy for more suspense. not.

here we go again!

I’m in the ring, just called by my interviewer today.

yay RD.

@Breuer2014
do you mean you got a call from your interviewer that you’re going to have an interview? or that you are in?

Also to everyone,
did any of you guys let your interviewer know if you got in or not?

Interviewers will be informed in the next few days if any of their EA students got accepted or deferred. We get that info after the notification dates for students. There’s no way an interviewer would be the one informing the student of his/her decision.

Thank you T26E4.

Yay Rocker! :]

Yay, RD applicants!

I haven’t been contacted about my interview yet, though.

im pretending that i never applied SCEA, that i never got deferred, that im just applying RD.

it seems to be helping :)

yay Yale RD!

I like this plan of yours almostcrimes. I got rejected from Stanford so now I’m looking at Yale and Princeton.

MFed - nice to see you again :)

Rejected at Columbia ED, deferred from Chicago EA, applying to Yale (I never learn do I). I’m from India, lived in Singapore practically my whole life. I have academic interests in economics, political science, creative writing, sociology, math and history.
