Hi, I am a rising senior, and I am planning to apply early decision to Dartmouth College. I visited the college and attended the info session, and I just simply love Dartmouth. I am all excited about applying to colleges, but at the same time, I am kind of nervous, so I want to weigh my chances of getting into Dartmouth, which is my first choice.

Also, I took a class at Harvard Summer School, but I got a B-..so I don't know if I should include that in my application. I feel like it would definitely hurt my chances.

Congratulations on your acceptance to Dartmouth! For real, I don’t think you’ll have any problems getting in.

I think you have a great shot at Dartmouth. Best of luck to you!

Although Ivies are unpredictable when it comes to admissions, you have a good chance at Dartmouth, meaning most likely acceptance. Just don’t screw up on essays.

I think not having great ECs at school might hurt you, but you have as strong a shot any anyone. Good luck!

You should definitely apply to Dartmouth. I think you have a high chance of getting in. I graduated this year (from high school). I had similar GPAs and SAT scores and good extracurriculars (also similar to yours), and I got into Dartmouth and Stanford. I didn’t even get a rec from a professor of any kind, so I think you are in a good place. Just be confident and honest in your essays! Good luck!

The competition from MA, where Dartmouth is extremely popular is brutal. ACT is strong and your best shot is if your are top 2 in your class.

Good chance in Dartmouth. Well-rounded, and yet still having a keen interest in medicine. :D

Just calculated your academic index for you-
Your Academic Index: 224
AI Rank * : 7 out of 9

Decent shot for Dartmouth.

If you had to guess your rank, where would you put yourself?

Academic rank is really important, according to the Academic Index.

But it should be good enough to Dartmouth… :D

*****, well this sucks for me. Haha, you have a good shot. I mean nothing is for certain, and when I visited Dartmouth, the adcom seemed to place a ton of emphasis into the more subjective elements of the application, so my warning would be to focus a lot on everything else and don’t think your stats are sufficient to get you through.

I believe, though, that you can ask your academic rank whenever you can.
