Six more hours guys!

Im from California so its not that late, just 11pm.
ohio
2 AM, wow you sure are going deep
@Vaish Are you actually staying up all night?
so its safe to use open door to access the scores early? If anything, use a proxy server?
@Pghimire i just cant sleep ill try again soon
Open Door is safe to use. I used it last year to access my scores days ahead, and it worked. Same with all my friends. Just download the app and you should be fine. @splashzone10
@thatsciencenerd can you let me know if it works for you tomorrow morning? Thanks man!!! Hopefully I pulled a 4/5 on euro !!!
Sure thing! I have an alarm set for 7am (central)…hopefully I’ll actually wake up haha. I’m sure you did fine! I’m worried about calc and phys lol we’ll see @splashzone10
Super worried about Physics. 5 hours left.
Will Open Door always work? Since you don’t have the option to know what location your IP address is seemingly coming from, how can you be sure it’s from one of the states that are able to view scores?
Hey I just wanted to mention how proxies work since some of yall seem unable to use google.
Your computer has an address just like your house. While your house address is something like 123 House St., your computer’s address is a series of numbers called an IP address. A proxy server is something you set your web browser to use, so that before your little computer can connect to the big wide web, it has to go to the proxy which then changes the computer’s IP to the IP of the proxy server. This means that I, currently in Texas can connect to a New Jersey proxy server and any website will think I’m in New Jersy. I’ll get ads for New Jersey hotels, and restaurants.
A proxy is not a magic wand. To use one properly and get scores earlier you will need to be connected to a proxy server in the right area, and you cannot access your scores before 8AM EST. Because that’s when the people from NJ can see theirs. Understand?
Now, you might be thinking, “I hate doing work, tell me how to find a proxy NOW” Alright.
Google something along the lines of free-proxy-lists-US. You should get a web page with a long list of IP addresses and codes for servers in different US states and cities. Connect to one in the locations College Board will release, preferably with a strong signal connection.
Now you might be thinking, but how the heck do I connect to a proxy server?!?
In my experience, proxies work better for me on Firefox than Safari. What you should do is Google “how to configure a proxy for ____ browser” and follow the instructions. Make sure you copy the IP and the port correctly. And restart your browser after you connect. Then Google something like “where am I” and find a website that shows you where you are based on your IP to see if it worked.
BE PATIENT. Proxies will be slow because your computer has to send its data from its router to the proxy and THEN to the website. Also, I can almost 100% guarantee the CB website will crash tomorrow morning. There’s going to be all the East Cost people trying to log in, the people with slow proxies, and regular people from say Colorado who don’t know that they can’t get in yet.
A word of warning, as a previous poster said, SOME proxies can key log which means if you forgot to disconnect the proxy and say went to check your bank statement, if you were unknowingly connected to a malicious proxy, it could swipe your log in information. This is very rare, but always disconnect your proxy the minute you no longer need it.
Also, I’ve used proxies for two years. I won’t be joining the mad rush in the morning because I already got scores through my college. Although I cannot be certain, it’s unlikely college board could detect proxies, and even then, their IT is probably more concerned with keeping their site from overloading than hunting down proxy users.
If after all this, and trying Opendoor, you can’t get your scores, I ask you kindly to just wait and be patient. I wouldn’t advise giving out your username and password and AP number to Random internet strangers to see your scores, but if you’re going to, I’m available, as I have been in years past, to look them up for you.
Be smart and may the odds be ever in your favor
(Sorry for monster post)
@thatsciencenerd which physics tests did you take?? And it’s ok if I use my iPhone to check right???
hey guys, does cb release the scores EXACTLY at 8am est or have you heard of any instances when they were available before 8am
bro just go to sleep and wake up in the morning lol
@yskim980423 not sure about AP scores but CB released SAT June scores earlier than the official stated time that morning
Anyone still up and trying to get scores? I’m supposed to wake up my daughter when scores are available. We heard that SAT scores were available at 3:00 am mountain time and I woke her up at 4:00 am and sure enough, they were posted. So, I’m thinking the same may hold true for AP scores.
@fifty50 how kind of you even as a parent haha i wish my parents were willing to do that, kudos to you for being an awesome parent
@yskim980423 What’s the point of even doing that? The scores will be the same when she wakes up.
