Will 3s prevent u from getting into top 20 colleges like Georgetown and Brown?

kinda disappointed, really thought I had pulled off a 4 in chem. Should I report the 3 when applying to colleges or just leave it off?

@2016senior If you consider Emory a top 20 (tied for 21 with Georgetown according to USNWR), then no. I am going to Emory this fall and I scored a 3 on AP English Lang. Besides, AP scores are not used in admissions decisions.
@anxiousturtle one 3 in ap chemistry isn’t going to kill you:-) chemistry is one of the harder AP exams and just taking it looks better than not taking it and especially since you passed. I’d be proud of it if I were you, or at least I’m proud of my 3 in chemistry lmao

@FLStudent97 yea I’m applying to Emory too, so thank you for sharing . And I know some colleges look at AP Scores but I think its only the top 10 schools

@heckarad lol thank you I know it’s not the end of the world, but I want to go into a STEM field & wasn’t sure if the 3 on a science would look bad. But as someone above stated, adcoms don’t use ap scores for admissions so maybe it won’t matter as much as I thought??

Really happy about the results. I’ve only ever self-studied Japanese, so this gives me some validation.
@rdeng2614 I just got off the phone with her, and she said my only option is to submit a request to re-score my multiple choice… What does this mean? 
That was what she said after having me on hold for like 10 minutes… She was like investigating something…
But I did not realize it costs $30…
