Is it just me or did the AP English Language and Composition exam make no sense at all (I took it last year; I’m assuming that it wasn’t very different this year.)?
I can do a few more score checks if there’s anybody left
My grandma is on the east coast and checked for me and I supposedly got a 5 in APUSH! But I don’t trust her with technology so I’ll have to wait until I see the score myself lol.
When you’re more excited about your 4s then your 5 B-)
@Kitsyxoxo That’s my reaction to AP Calculus AB (4) and AP Latin (5). I could have sworn that I scored a 3 or lower on AP Calculus AB.
I got a 5 on AP World History! (Sadly, that’s the only AP class I can take sophomore year)
4 on Psych
4 on English Language(surprised because I had no idea what i was doing and my teacher didn’t prep us)
5 on APUSH( super happy because I knew I was capable of it, but walked out feeling like I got a 3)
@FLStudent97 I have a question… You seem to know your stuff. I took AP Lang, and like, our proctor began to collect our part 2 materials after we finished part 1 on accident, and a lot of our books and stuff got mixed up with other students’. I think I bubbled in the wrong number on my answer sheet from my test booklet, so I am unsure if this is why my score is so low… I think I put in my Student number there instead of my test booklet number… I got off the phone with CB and they had me on hold for 10 min while they investigated, and they said my only option is to have it rescored (the MC)… What should I do?
I don’t think there’s anything you can do…
@aznboi4981, as @TheWaffleMan149 said, there’s probably nothing you can do. Re-scoring the MC will only do you so much and it would probably be a hassle to coerce CollegeBoard to do that anyways. The worst that can happen is that you just have to sit through English 101 at college.
However, if you plan on taking AP English Lit (and score well on the exam), you may be able to exempt entry-level English at your future respective college or university. At Emory, for example, students can only exempt entry-level English with either AP English Lang or AP English Lit credit (not both), so only one good score is necessary.
Only took half a class of AP Stats. Still pulled a 4. What a bogus exam lol. I don’t understand the merit behind many universities giving intro stats CREDIT for anything less than a 5, if at all.
FYI Tunnelbear is a great proxy to use, worked for me
5 Calc AB (so happy!!!)
5 English Lang
5 Psych
3 APES (lol wat I barely knew anything and the teacher for this class made the class seem like a joke, glad I passed even though I only get elective credits hehe)
3 US Gov (the only one I’m disappointed about… really thought I would have gotten a 4/5… Don’t get any college credit for it anyways though so whatevs)
Overall I’m very happy with my scores! Was a little nervous about the 5 on Calc as well as lang. Was kind of nervous I wouldn’t even pass APES just because I didn’t take the course seriously lol. BTW I used Secureline VPN with the New York IP to access scores from my iPhone. Good job to everyone!!!
@FLStudent97 I literally got a 2 though. I spoke to CB on the phone, and they said they would re-score it… But I am just shocked… If I put my student ID # instead of the booklet number, does that make a difference at all?
AP Bio: 5
AP World History: 5
Literally jumped from surprise when I saw them
@DMAzai That’s why some colleges and universities, Dartmouth in particular, have stopped granting credit for AP exams to their students. AP courses are taught with varying degrees of rigor at high schools across the US and the world and the exam is the only standardization amongst all these varying degrees of difficulty students have with various teachers.
Can somebody check my scores please! Im a desperate! Respond to this if you are willing
@AlexDoe I can. PM me.
AP Calc BC: 4 (AB subscore: 5)
AP Eng Lang: 5
AP Enviro: 5
AP Spanish: 5
APUSH: 5
No one’s perfect, guys. But seriously, I’m so happy.
ok done
@aznboi4981 If you are referring to the exam booklet number, then yes. As you may know, CollegeBoard releases different forms of each exam (particularly the MC section; I haven’t heard of anyone within my school ever having different FRQ’s) to prevent cheating. So, you may have put down the number of a different form, though I doubt that this scenario occurred if you say you put your Student AP number in that section.
I really can’t say how much of a difference your possible error could have made on your exam score as I don’t fully understand the inner workings of CollegeBoard. :-/
