@2016senior Actually the teachers only get the scores. Some get the essay scores, but I know for a fact they don’t get full breakdowns. They get overall class report, like the percentage that did good on history from 1700-1800 or something. But it does not give each individual student’s essay score. At least my AP Literature teacher didn’t. She just got the FRQ booklets back with the overall exam score. My AP Language teacher got the booklets back with essay scores, so I’m not sure exactly how it’s done.
But please check your facts before you tell people that teachers get exact breakdowns.
@pathospablo my ap world teacher last year got our essay scores and if we were a low 5 high 5 low 4 etc.
@2016senior My AP US only got our exam scores and how we performed on the multiple choice section
@Defeat Oh wow that’s quite a load! Are you going into senior year? And for me, I’m taking AP lit, stats (online course), Calc BC, Spanish Lang, and US Gov! Also, how is stats? I’ll be taking an online course during school for this class so I’m a little worried!

@balletlove97 Yes!! I screamed when I saw I had made a 5. It was my favorite teacher (I had her my sophomore year and they gave her AP this year) and it was her first year. The whole year I was stressed and I was hoping for a 3—only to get a 5! They must have loved my first synthesis ever essay, my superb rhetoric analysis, and my satire on being polite.
@pathospablo I feel you! That feeling of getting 5 is like no other! I had that experience last year for Euro! We got the same exam then! Haha that argumentative essay question though! That was an interesting one to write about! and wow you wrote your first synthesis essay on the exam?! You must be a pretty darn good writer!
@balletlove97 I was so confused on why they gave us that question!! I just treated it like an SAT essay and defend myself with personal experience and George Orwell’s 1984. And yep! My first synthesis essay was the AP exam one. I looked up how to write them periodically throughout the year, but the exam was my first time. Can’t wait until tomorrow when I can view them through the AP website and hopefully see my AP Scholar with Distinction award!
