They emailed D a week ago Friday saying they hadn’t received her transcript. She emailed a copy Friday and had the GC do it Monday. The GC also called, and Coke pulled her file and did have the transcript. That was nerve wracking!
So psyched! I just wanna know! acc. to twitter, they are finishing up and regional finalists will be announced soon!
Maybe we can expect them this week?!

@sryrstress did you get an emailing confirming they received her transcript? I emailed my essay last night and I didn’t get an email back confirming they received it.
The guidance counselor called last Monday to confirm they rec’d the copy she emailed and faxed that morning. Someone at Coke actually pulled the file and said yes, they had had the transcript all along. Then yes, we did get another email apologizing and saying it was an oversight. Hope that delay doesn’t hurt her chances.
I remember I received an email around January 1st stating that they did not receive ANY parts of my application. I almost died that day. I emailed them stating when I sent everything and about two days later they sent an email saying they had everything lol. Nerve racking indeed.
So do you all think we will find out around January 20th or earlier? I think it would be next week for sure if not by Friday of this week.

Regional Finalists were announced a year ago today. Decisions were posted on Thursday, January 16, 2014, and a tweet was posted at 5:36 pm Eastern Time. Still a chance they could come out today. Tempting to call them, but don’t want to feel like I am bothering them.
^^ This is true, but I believe last year the foundation said they would release decisions in “mid January.” We have “late January.”
Was not aware of that. Interesting point. Just think it is kind of strange that they tweeted last Sunday that they are almost done making decisions. Seems like that was really fast (although I doubt that all 2,000 semifinalists actually sent in applications).
