I know my GPA is very low. Very low. But I really have always wanted to go to Duke and it's my number one. Please chance me. Thanks so much!

Well, applying ED will certainly improve your chances, but your SAT II scores and GPA seem a tad low right now. Definitely aim for 2150+ on your SAT I and you should have an okay chance ED assuming you have strong essays and recommendation because youre ECs seem to be very strong Everything I have been told and read says that Duke admissions officers look at subjective material almost as heavily, if not as heavily, as your stats, so make sure they are of the highest quality and you have an alright chance.

I will also be applying to Duke ED! Good luck!

phillipscott, thank you so much for the input! Yeah, my GPA and SAT II scores are pretty low =/ I’m going to give it my best to make my essays amazing, and I think my letter of recs should be good too :)

BUT, wow, your stats look amazing! Wayyyyy out there compared to me!
Good luck–to both of us! DUKE :D

i think you might be on the edge. you need to have awesome essays and you might have a decent. def focus on the essays
