2015 Ivy League RD Results

OK, take 2! I posted this before, but it got deleted, not sure why. Basically, this is going to be your typical results thread with a twist: It’s results for multiple schools, not just one. If you want to, post your result (Accept, reject, waitlist) and stats for any of the Ivy League Schools you applied to. It can be a single school or maybe you applied to all 8. Also if this is a success, I may make one for the UC system as well. Congrats to everyone!

General Comments/Advice/Hindsight:

These exist in all eight of these schools’ fora. They are kept for research purposes on those fora for future students as well. Why do you think people would double post their results here when it’ll just sink to the bottom?

^^^Yep. The purpose of results threads is for future applicants to have reference. The vast majority of people are noy applying to all 8 Ivy’s and thus do not need a consolidated thread. Each Ivy had its own results thread.

I don’t understand how this could be a negative. This thread is a potential research-purpose database, one that could actually replace each of the individual result threads. I’m not saying that Ivy League Schools are the only elite schools , but displaying the stats and decisions of applicants to multiple top schools would be an excellent resource (at least to me). And what do you mean by double posting? People who post their stats and decisions usually do it for all the schools they applied to. For instance, A student would post the same-exact stats for 4 different results threads, and all of these schools may happen to be in the Ivy League. Why not combine these results to one thread? How would this hurt? @jamesjunkers @T26E4‌ Feedback is appreciated though, thanks

Bump, now that results are out

I wouldn’t mind seeing the results…

Yea, I think it’s going to be hard since most people post their results by going to a specific school’s thread category. This thread is general, so people may not notice it. Thanks for the positive feedback though lol @dsi411

I would also like to see the results

In response as to why NOT do this thread, its really only a handful of people who apply to more than 3 ivies anyways, even on CC. As such, people typically just go to the respective college’s forum to view admissions results. I agree that this will likely get buried and be useless a couple days from now. I respect your intentions, however I think everyone’s time would better be invested just going to the individual schools’ fora.

Yup I agree, was worth the try though @giraffeinatree
