I’ve been trying to find the list for Wisconsin but can’t. Is there some place I can look or some way to search for it from the National Merit Corporation?

Vermont list is at

What about international semi-finalists? Is there a list of those released, or is it just disbursed to specific local papers?

Anyone got a link for Arizona yet?

Here is the whole list for Kentucky–see pages 3 and 4.

@litlepanda888, I have the WI list, got a reporter to send it to me. I see you don’t have enough posts to do PM(15). When you do, PM me and tell me your e-mail and I’ll send it to you. I might have it on Docstoc in the the next couple of days. I’ll post if I do. Tech support is looking at it to see why it doesn’t upload properly.

So, schools out and we still haven’t seen any announcements for Nevada. Does anyone know if this is common for the states to be so staggered with results like this?

@Showingupforlife, If you don’t know if you qualified you can call the National Merit Scholarship Corporation office at 847-866-5100. They will confirm whether you’re in or not in about 30 seconds. If you know you qualified but have not received a letter with your login information from the school, ask the people at the NMC and see if they can give you the login information directly. My D (in Nevada) received a letter from her school counselor that had her login information.

@mtrosemom I tried to call 2 minutes after they closed! Now to wait. If my S has a score of 228 in Nevada do you think he is “safe”?

228 clears the bar in all 50, congratulations!!!

A 228 is in for Nevada, as long as it was his junior year PSAT.

I can’t believe that these schools are holding this information from students and their families. I would call the school on Monday to get (demand nicely) the log in information…if the school won’t give it, then call the National Merit for the log in information. Unbelievable.

Thanks @PAMom21 and @Felicita. I thought he would be okay with that score but I just want to see it in writing you know…these kids work so hard.

@Showingupforlife: If your son got a 228, he is for sure in!

Thanks @bevward, maybe I’ll be able to sleep this weekend.

I am reasonably sure that you cannot get the login information from NMSC and that they will confirm eligibility but then send you back to the school for that information. It’s pretty aggravating.

When I called to confirm D2’s eligibility they offered to resend stuff to the HS if they didn’t get it–so if you have contact info for the person at your HS you could do that.
