2015 Regular Admission Decisions!!!

Hello everyone,
First off we mailed out our decision letters last Friday, March 18th. We mailed a mix of FedEx and USPS. International students were mailed FedEx. Interesting enough we had a few international student receive their letters before US students! We will email out decision letters to internationals sometime this week. We are currently working on the technical side of things with those emails.

Our financial aid office worked some very long hours the weeks before break. We try to include financial aid packages in with the decision letters whenever we can. Some situations this is not possible (FAFSA submitted late) however the vast majority will have packages in the same envelope.

I think that answers the questions I have seen. Mail service can be a pain. Ethiopia has seen letters, Bahamas will take another couple months, and NJ just arrived yesterday. Call us old fashion but we prefer to send out the paper decision letters. Until then keep checking out Facebook. It is a public page so if you do not have a facebook account you can still see what people are saying!

hopefulslu: “so happy!!” What a wonderful expression of joy. I hope you and your classmates have a great 4 years.

Were domestic letters sent usps or fedex? Or, were acceptances fedex’d and rejections usps?

DD received acceptance letter via USPS with merit info included.

I’m so anxious to know…I’m an international student from Egypt. I can’t wait for that email! AHH! SLU is one of my top choices!

Still no letter in Russia… Getting nervous, as Earlham sent me an acceptance letter by FedEx on 3/21 and I got it yesterday.

I’m also an International student, and I haven’t received my letter.
I also haven’t gotten an email even though these were supposed to be sent this week…
I’m getting a bit nervous…does this probably mean I’m rejected? Were only acceptances mailed using Fedex?

Non US students. I think the best thing you can do is relax. Whatever happens, happens. It’s out of your control now.

Thin envelope… Not FedEx… Next time…

No wonder actually.
SAT 1790
SAT II - US History: 740
GPA: 4.82/5
Great Extracurriculars, honors and awards
Good recommendations
And full financial aid requirement…

Congrats everyone who got in!

Rejected… SAT 2030, lots of ECs, Gap Year.

Oh well… I’m going to Harvard or Princeton. Congrats to everyone who was accepted!!

Never did post this, I guess. Son admitted (and attending) with momentum scholarship. Stats are 3.25 GPA (rigorous school and course load), 2130 SAT, strong EC’s and leadership, will play two sports, superb essay, great recs.

keylyme… my S has similar stats… Probably 3.4 at a top private prep school, 2100+ SAT’s and atypical great EC’s with tons of leadership. He will be applying next Fall. We will definitely need $… I think your S also applied and got accepted to UVM right? My S is applying there too. How much was the momentum scholarship at SLU?
