Doesn’t look like this thread has been started yet…so I’ll start it! (If there has been another thread of this nature, I apologize). It’s getting near time for Ron Brown semifinalists to be notified, so I thought I’d start this thread to see who all applied and ask if anybody has received news yet

My senior also applied. Stats are as follows:
GPA 4.0 95/100 (unweighted)
ACT 35
4 APs so far APUS = 5; AP GOVT = 5; AP EURO = 5; AP LANG = 3
Taking three APs this year (AP Psych, AP BIO, and AP LIT) and Calculus at local CC (he couldn’t fit in his regular HS schedule
Rank 33/315 (really competative high school (top 11%)
GPA: 4.0 unweighted. (School doesn’t weight)
ACT: 32
SAT: 1450/2220
Rank: 8/98 (top 8%)
Will graduate with 5 APS (school only offers 6). AP euro= 3 APUSH=5 taking AP English, AP Calc 1 and 2 this year
Also was a national achievement scholarship outstanding participant and girls state delegate.

Rank = 69/269 but this is due to not being very accurate and having a highly competitive senior class
I hope so. I checked my email around 2:00 and there was nothing, but I’ll check again later.

I just checked my email again, and still nothing. I don’t see any reason for sending out emails to take that long, so I’ve taken my mind off of it. Still hoping that maybe they just got my email wrong and maybe I’ll get something in the mail soon :))
