I would be devastated if I didn’t make it in as well. Ugh. These next few months sitting on pins me needles are not going to be fun. It’s all I can think about. I also applied to CSUSM, but I really just don’t want to make that drive 5 days a week from/to Tierrasanta, so I may consider the ASU Online communication program if all else fais.

Anyways, my stats are as follows-

Major: Communication
Location: San Diego CC District
GPA: 3.63
I will also have my AA-T complete by this upcoming spring! Only 2 classes shy of graduating, so I’m almost done.

I’m also an active duty military dependent. If I get denied admission, I’m hoping this could help during the appeal process.

Best of luck to you. I agree with the pins and needles thing…I have been feeling that way since I submitted my application back in October lol. I too applied to CSUSM just to be safe. By the way…do you happen to know when the supplemental application going to be available in the webportal? The site just says January but no dates are given.
Major - Business Administration (Accounting)
Location - Northern California (SRJC)
GPA - 3.0
AA/AS-T- should be completed by the end of Spring 2015
Good luck everyone!
Alright, so we have a Poli Sci major, a Coms major and a Business Administration Accounting major so far.
@IronHead the supplemental application is now available in the web portal. Here we go! This is basically the last thing they will look at before making their provisional admission decisions. Make sure it’s all super accurate guys! Good luck to all!
Working on mine now. It looks like you cannot submit it, rather, the system will automatically submit it for you on January 26th. That’s comforting that changes can be made up until then. I think I’m going to go to the transfer center at my school and have someone take a look to ensure accuracy. Thanks for the headsup @raychill89
Major - Computer Science/Computer Engineering
Location - San Bernardino County
GPA - 3.3
AA/AS-T? - Not offered
I first declared my major computer science on my initial application, but then changed my mind and wanted to major in computer engineering instead. Here’s the problem… I cannot change my major to CE on the application, and just received an email asking me to submit a supplemental application. I only have 2 completed courses out of 9 for CS, but on the CE course list I have more. I’m going to hold out on submitting my supplemental application until I get a few more opinions.
@eellis I would strongly recommend seeing your counselor at the current JC you attend followed by giving admissions over at SDSU a call and seeing what they say. My guess is the same as defacto: I don’t think you can change your major on the supplemental app after you’ve declared a major on the initial app, but it’s worth finding out for sure from them directly. I do know that any discrepancies on both of those applications could result in a denial of admission.
The supplemental applications will automatically be submitted on January 26th at 11:59 pm as you may already know, so definitely try to hurry in getting your ducks in a row. Best of luck to you!
Major - Bio
Location - Transferred From Charleston SC
GPA - 3.52, looking to boost it with my spring classes
AA/AS-T?- I don’t think so? I have an AS
I’m a military dependent as well, hoping that might help. I applied to CSUSM as a safety school but don’t want to make the drive every week. I filled out my supplemental, I’m so nervous!
Major: Accounting
Location: De Anza College
GPA: 3.28 (A little low for my major but I’m taking a shot anyway)
AA/AS-T: I will have it by the end of Spring
Anybody else did not get an AA/AS-T page on their Supplemental Action? I went through the Tutorial that was attached to the email step by step but did not have the AA/AT-T page offered to me.
But you can also fill the form prior to the submission period right? The email also gave us a step by step tutorial on how to complete it. One specific page on the tutorial showed how to fill up the AA/AT-T area. I didn’t have an option for that page somehow.
@teknikal562 If you’re looking at the supplemental application right now, there should be a tab at the very top directly to the right of the “Major Preparation” tab, and it should say “AA-T/AS-T”. I would call SDSU and let them know you are unable to see this tab on the supplemental application and find out what is going on. I am not 100% sure if this is accurate, but my only guess is that you may not have declared on your initial application that you are receiving an AA/AS-T which is why this tab is not showing, but if you know for a fact that you did, I would call them right away. Be prepared to be on hold for a while; they are getting inundated with calls around this time.
This tab/part of the application does allow you to state “no”, that you are not receiving an AA/AS-T degree, so maybe everyone should be seeing this tab on the application. I have no clue, but there is an entire page of the application for AA/AS-T.
@teknikal562 Here is what the AA/AS-T page says on my supplemental application:
“You have identified yourself as an applicant to an SDSU major with an approved corresponding Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) or Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T) degree program from a California Community College.”
So I guess this confirms my theory that this section will only show up for those that declared the AA/AS-T on their initial application.
Those are the majors that are SDSU approved for the AA/AS-T degrees. I don’t see Accounting…but I don’t know anything about the accounting degree. Does Accounting fall under Business Administration?
