Those stats suck lol for a biology major at least! Oh well. I’m hoping my 4.0 is good enough. I’ve worked my butt off so that’s all I really could do! I’m anxiously anticipating UCSDs admission!

From all my friends that have transferred to state before me, they said they got accepted on the first day, anyone else who was still pending got rejected a couple days later. I guess sdsu likes to torture students that they reject.
I recently checked my student center for CSULB (admitted as of 2/13/15) and I saw that the “e-verification” requirement in my “to-do” list disappeared – meaning they processed it (obviously lol). So I called SDSU’s admissions office and asked if they received my “e-verification,” the person helping me checked, and he said NO. I know the deadline for the verification is the 15th of this month, but I was just hoping that SDSU started processing the “e-verifications” for students who had it submitted earlier due to other schools (CSULB) having earlier deadlines (although LB’s initital deadline was erroneous). So now that I obviously know my verification was already submitted into the “system” I was instructed by SDSU’s admissions office to call next week to check if my verification posted to my account. It looks like they are not even going to look at ADT transfer students’ apps until the deadline has passed hopefully I’m wrong.
BTW: I called the SDCCD’s evaluations office and the lady who answered confirmed my “e-verification” was sent AND that their deadline is actually the 13th of March since the 15th falls on a Sunday! YAY 2 days earlier haha. Hopefully that cuts 2 days of waiting for our admission decisions! :-bd
@irinairina 1,121 applied General Communication and only 145 were accepted LOL. I feel that it could go either way. I have a 3.67 (3.77 with bump) which I thought was a good GPA…but I fear it still may not be good enough given that I’ll be competing with SO many other applicants and that could mean that the pool of applicants getting in will have higher GPAs than mine. Only time will tell…
Basically the moral of my story from above: if people on here start posting that they were accepted and yours is still pending, you got rejected.

Just because you’re still pending does not mean you’re rejected. They go through different departments which take time. Actually, rejected and Admitted students will find out at the same time.
Hey @TruffleButter what is this “e-verification” thing!? Do you know where we can access that in webportal to see if we submitted?
Last year there were people getting acceptance notices all the way through April. So pending after some were accepted already, doesn’t neceserily mean rejection…
I’ve just got to say guys, thank GOD for College Confidential and for you all. I am finding solace talking with each of you! It makes me feel so much better going through this grueling process with others and knowing I am not all alone.
