Does anyone know what the requirements are for the SDSU honors program?
Denied. Business accounting major with a 3.96 GPA and all pre-reqs completed. Very discouraged because of how hard I worked and SDSU was my top school. I will either be attending Cal Poly SLO and UCSB
Just got denied. I literally have no more Engineer prep. classes i can take. Another year of waiting. I honestly don’t think being a Vet. helps you out honestly. Just too many folks trying to get into too few spots.
I am terribly sorry that you guys were denied…I wish you all the best of luck at the schools you end up going to. There is always next year too! Looks like a few people who were denied last year made it in this year! Try out another school and if it’s not a good fit, reapply to SDSU next fall.

he is a mechanical engineering major
I just got denied 3.4 Public Health. Local Transfer. I dont know what to do. I didnt really want to move to long beach but I might try to appeal here.

@benzina We actually have a better shot then you probably think. Only a handful of schools offer the Economics ADT none are local plus the requirements for the econ ADT are quite rigorous, you need to take and pass calc 3.
@brycestep Also denied Accounting 3.96 gpa, LA County, AS-T complete Spring 15 & verified, All major prereqs completed except two didn’t articulate. At least im not still waiting like Cal Poly Slo
Denied Admission, bummer!
Yeah maybe I was wrong- they received over 81,000 applications for only around 8,200 slots total for the entire Fall 2015. I had my AD-T and didn’t have to wait longer than I expected, so really there were so many limited spaces to probably just about every single major that it was pretty easy work for their admissions office.
Anyhow, stats for future reference to any Kines majors for SDSU:
Decision: Denied
Major: Kinesiology
Emphasis: Pre-Physical Therapy
GPA Cumulative: 3.27
AD-T: Complete, AA-T Kinesiology
Non-Local in SLO at Cuesta College

@EconomicsSDSU , curious… what school is that from? If that’s the same as MATH 122 at Mesa, then I’m currently taking it as it is required for UCSD, which I also applied for.
8000 slots at what yield? They accept more than 8000 and some dont attend. But transfers have a higher yield than freshman i believe, much higher

Denied today. I received an email simply telling me to check the portal. Linguistics major, SFSU, 3.01 GPA. Good luck to the rest of you!
Got an email too to check the portal and got denied. Honestly really surprised. I applied for business admin finance and although I’m taking a few prereqs this semester I’m taking the harder options. Like calc 1 and calc 2 instead of business calc. And my GPA is 3.83. Sdsu was the only csu I applied and the rest are uc’s I’m still waiting for. Honestly makes me nervous that I won’t get in anywhere now.
