I literally woke up from my nap, checked the web portal, and I’m FINALLY ADMITTED! I literally had to slap myself because I thought I was still asleep for some reason LMFAO! YES! Checked my web portal as usual, did not expect anything tonight but I GOT ADMITTED for Business Admin Financial Services with AS-T and 3.36 GPA (3.46 with bump) local transfer from SDCCD. I am beyond happy! Congrats to everyone who made it in!
For students who got denied:
Don’t let it discourage you, I got denied last year because of a silly mistake I made on the application. So word of advice here - check with Admissions representative what was the reason of your denial, and try to appeal. My appeal did not go through since the business is impacted major, but it does not necessarily mean that yours won’t work neither.
I know how it feels. This whole situation was a huge stress and disappointment for me since all my friends got in… For a while it felt like I was not smart enough to make it in, but I got over it and re-applied. Good luck to all of you!
