Sorry to hear that I got denied also where do you live? And I saw some Socio majors with a lower GPA then your they got accepted !!
I live in Sacramento. But I did have some courses from Palomar a few years back. Yeah it sucks but I have tag to UC davis so I guess I’ll go with that unless the other ucs come around.
@akelii CSUDH is my second choice tied with fullerton to which ever one i get into… I heard CSUDH is in a bad area im sort of worried about this??? do u know any info about that school b/c im considering it if i dont get into SDSU

getting into sdsu is an accomplishment. do not turn it down.
Gf was denied today as an english major with all pre reqs finished. So I have no idea if I’ll be going to sdsu right now

@gh0stii she had all her pre reqs done but a 2.9 GPA. She also has a friend who was denied missing a prereq or 2 with a 3.1 GPA. We’re non-local.

Hey guys I got denied admission today as well, surprisingly I’m not as crushed as I thought I would be. UCSB was my top school and I was accepted there so, which I’m very excited about. 
It would have been nice to have SDSU as an option, but I really shouldn’t complain because Santa Barbara is not only gorgeous, but its a great UC as well. SDSU is a very tough state school to get into, I heard its the 2nd hardest after Cal Poly.
My stats are
GPA 3.57
Major: Communications
AA-T: yes
Transferring with Honors from NorCal
I completed all the pre-req’s that were offered at my school
I was thinking of submitting an appeal, but I’m not sure if I would have a valid reason to appeal. What do you guys think? I’m not military and I submitted the supplemental application on time so I’m not sure what reason I could use.

I’m pretty crushed. I only applied to two schools and I don’t want to settle on going to CSUSM… I just wish I would have known how hard it was to get into schools when I first started community college 4 years ago.

Technically not local, even though all my transferable classes were done at Grossmont and Mesa. I took a few classes in Los Angeles, when I lived there. =/
I got denied last year due to a application mistake, which they admitted to be on their side. I appealed, found out in July that I still didn’t get in due to my major being full. It was pretty upsetting, but I took the semester off and backpacked around the world. =) No regrets!

Same, accepted into UCSB so should still be very thankful. Can we call and ask why we were denied? I want to appeal but not sure if I have a reason?
