@ellie64 There was someone on this thread who said to call SDSU if you were denied to find out why. I am so sorry!! I would definitely call to find out the exact reason is for the denial and go through with the appeals process if it’s possible.

@sawi4397 I believe they close daily at 4:00 pm and open at 9:00 am. I would definitely call tomorrow. I needed to call earlier about my intent to enroll fee and couldn’t get through. My guess is that many students who were denied were calling in. Try tomorrow as soon as they open. Did you apply to any other schools? Again, I am so sorry and wish you luck as well. There is always next year if an appeal doesn’t pan out.

Call/email/visit admissions to find out why you were denied - thats my advice. It might have been a simple mistake you made on your application, and you can appeal admissions decision or re-apply next year. It might seems like the end of the world (i’ve been there) but it is really not! All the contacts are listed on the SDSU website. GOOD LUCK!

@SHOENICE I got denied today as well. Econ major. I got accepted to Cal Poly SLO and was 80% sure I’d attend, but wanted SDSU to be another option to entertain. Regardless, no one likes to read the words DENIED in these circumstances after so much anticipation. So, SLO it is, which I’m very excited about. And congrats to those accepted.
I was denied as well. Luckily I’ll be going to UCSB and I’m really happy about it. Thank God for TAG! Still would have been nice to choose between the two.

Hey I’ve been on this site for the past year looking at how to get into SDSU.
I am a transfer from SD Mesa College getting my AS-T for Business Admin-General in Spring. I have a 3.37 without the bump. I denied about an hour ago and have NO idea why? If anyone could enlighten me that would be great… Honestly crushed.
I took 42 units this year just to stay on track…

@transfer987654 I would call them tomorrow to see why you were denied…sdsu is SUPER impacted. Why they pick certain applicants over others I do not know. I would see what was up tomorrow
I read that they had over 81,000 applicants for next semester and they only accepted just over 8,000… Which is an insane amount
Correction: They had over 81,000 applications and predict to enroll 8,000. They usually accept 2.5 times as many applicants since not all will enroll.
