Anyone hear back from UC Berkeley Regents yet?
^ I thought you have to have been a student for two years AT Berkeley to become a Regents Scholar?
I also know there’s a whole interview process and whatnot
No, there’s incoming freshmen regents (for 4 years) and incoming transfer regents (for 2 years).
based on the email i received long ago from UCLA, regent decision comes out around the 20th of this month >…<! i’m out of my mind these days
it never ends @npham95.
sad reality … !
Has anyone received anything from ucla yet?
^ waiting still
My friend who was awarded it last year said that he was told a few days after the stated date of announcement (the 21st or 22nd instead of the 20th), not holding my breath on finding out today.
@am92592 Thanks for the headup! how competitive you think it is this year? since they invited after admission. I honestly still wonder why they did it differently this year
Check your email!! I just got awarded the scholarship!!
I also got the scholarship, as a one-year transfer student if I may add! Just found out about 15 minutes ago! Was in serious shock, and am still shaking! Congratulations to everyone else who won Regents!
Berkeley sent theirs out today too. Congrats @absolutely and @Stevieindb !
Got it!!! Im actually surprised. Guess this might tilt me away from Berkeley? Still Haven’t Decided
I did not receive an email
did your EPAL already update?
Do you think it is a rolling basis?..i’m just trying for one last shot.
I know i am kinda like desperate but i just thought if they sent out emails at 12 AM…maybe there are more later since 12 AM is kinda odd time. But well…congrats to you all!
“Students must notify the Scholarship coordinator of any change in academic status, such as taking less than the required 12 units per quarter, dropping below a 3.0 or if they are planning to take an approved leave of absence. Taking a quarter off will not extend the award past your tenure.”
Does anyone know if this includes summer session? I am only taking one class this summer.
Thank you @lindyk8 and congratulations to you @Stevieindb !
And @Stevieindb, I was wondering that as well. The email did say a student representative would call us, so this is something we can ask them.
