Application deadline-December 15
April/May – E-notifications are sent to recipients and non-recipients
August – Award checks are sent to recipients (including any employees pursuing an enrichment program who designate August 2016 as preferred check date). Checks are made payable to the accredited institution for the student only.

@CourtneyThurston Do you know the criteria for the Whopper vs the regular award?
You can find it online with enough Googling. From memory, you need higher GPA, higher test scores, and community service is considered (vs. the others where it isn’t).

@CourtneyThurston if you don’t mind my asking, were your SAT’s crazy high? She has a stellar GPA and lots of service, awards and activities but SAT wasn’t top tier.

My daughter received the $1000 Burger King Scholars award.
I received $1,000 as well.
