@thepinksun if you submitted the supplement with the common app you don’t need to submit them on the portal. It may take a few days for the portal to update
did everyone just get an email about the financial aid deadline?
@dhailey yes
@dhailey I got one as well last night!
Guys, how long does it take your supplemental documents to be processed? Mine has been taking so long, especially the mailed ones. Now I’m worried. Do anyone know when is the absolute deadline for supplemental documents to get in?
@Sumner how do you know yours haven’t processed? And what specific supplemental documents?
I don’t even know if my documents got there yet. My required docs is empty, but in submitted docs there are only the ones from high school. So…
@Kraz4CocoPuffs In that case, probably best to call them and check to see if they received them
Does anyone know if need or merit based financial aid will affect the admission chance?
Does college prefer applicants who do not apply financial aid?
@victory1 USC, along with almost all other schools, makes it pretty clear that they do not discriminate or base admissions decisions off of a student’s financial status or need of financial aid. It shouldn’t affect your admissions chance regardless of where you are applying, USC included. That being said, I have heard that USC does very well with awarding financial aid, so if you are accepted and are in need of aid, they will probably take good care of you!

@victory1 I was Business (first choice) and Econ (second choice). I got a SGR in May, but I then decided to switch my major to Sociology so I told my admissions counselor about my interest and how I would like to “change it if I were to be admitted” in June. She told me she would indicate my interest in Sociology so now I’m a Sociology major.
Does anyone know if it is acceptable to send our high school grades through parchment? On my you.usc it still says that i’m missing my high school transcript and transcript from my current college. Were both supposed to be submitted through the mail?
@mochibbycake how were your spring grades?
does recommendation letter have to be submitted before the dead line? what if it is submitted 2-3 days late?
anyone else here a part of the Trojan Transfer Plan?
@victory1 USC admissions posted something a few days ago on social media saying it is okay if letters of recommendation come in late, as long as the common app and writing supplement were submitted by 11:59 on February 1st.
