sorry I’m like super late to the game, but how do you even figure out how to log in to OASIS? Like what would my password be with the ID number?
Any other accepted students not have access to Oasis? Is that normal?
^ yes many people who have been accepted in the past did not have access to Oasis
If you get accepted can you sign up for summer courses
@John6311 registration is not allowed until you meet with an advisor for new transfer students. This normally takes place during orientation, which is held throughout the summer. I’m not even allowed to register for fall classes yet until I meet with an advisor.
@qwality2953 Oh okay! Thank you! When are you going to meet with your advisor
@PDrake6 Yup, definitely. A restrictions change for those who have OASIS access has always meant a decision has been made (for the past 2 years anyway). If yours updated several days ago and your STARS report is blank, then it would likely indicate that you received an SGR. Also, you’re not supposed to mention any of this stuff to the admissions office; they’re trained to say nothing/deny
@Brandon7CC Last year, I got my letter before I received any updates on my portal. It was funny. I called to complain on June 3rd (the deadline last year was June 1st), my restrictions updated June 4th, STARS on June 5th, and my letter arrived by mail on June 6th (dated June 5th). I live very close to USC though (like 8 miles), so I think they usually try to deliver by mail first unless you live pretty far; in that case, you might see it on your portal first
@taftie101 It would be either MMDDYY or MMDDYYYY (I forget the exact one, but it’s one of these by default). If you try both combinations of your birthday and neither works, that means you just don’t have access; nothing more
I hated logging onto OASIS too since you always need your ID number
Marshall Applicant. I still haven’t received a SGR or have access to Oasis. I have access to the housing website. Anyone else have a similar situation? 3.88 GPA. This wait is killing me. At least I have a safety program - UCI’s Paul Merage School of Business - Business Admin.
I have this gut feeling that most of us are going to be receiving our decisions next week…
when I try to log into OASIS, it just tells me I’ve entered an invalid ID? does this just mean I don’t have access?
Would a restrictions change this early really indicate a rejection? I thought that usually comes later…
How long does USC take to reply to a SGR once you send in your spring term grades?
Does anyone know what to do when my local counselor quits his job in admission office? do they automatically assign other person as a counselor for my state?
@zettasyntax If a student gets a SGR or a rejection, will the STAR report & STAR interactive audit report pages on OASIS ALWAYS remain blank, with absolutely nothing uploaded???
Thank you guys for helping me all the way through the process. I got accepted, and here are my stats:

anyone heard back from Annenberg or gotten a SGR from Annenberg?
@jheintz Absolutely no one. Cause Annenberg people like us are special
lol
@John6311 I registered for the July 19th orientation, so I’ll meet my advisor then
@triviummom Exactly. No changes will be made to either STARS report if an applicant has a pending SGR. If the student is rejected, the STARS report will also never change and remain blank. It only changes for accepted students (which is why seeing it filled out is such a good sign)

@AIS562 A restrictions change with no STARS update this early would more likely point to an SGR, but USC seems to be breaking the typical rules this year what with the whole early TTP thing that happened, so rejections could come out earlier. To be fair, almost nobody posts about their rejections, so it’s hard to tell the pattern with so little info.
@brookecandy Yup, you just don’t have access if you couldn’t login with your birthday as the password; nothing to worry about
@zettasyntax Thank you for answering my question.
