@usmanf dude a 3.9 should be enough for EE lol
One of my friends is transferring to UT after attending two different schools, will the GPA of his two semesters of college (at different universities) be averaged, better of the two, or the lower of the two?
Also, is a 3.824 GPA good enough for COLA?
@wickedwarrior777 bro you’re GPA is probably fine lol i’ve seen you ask a lot recently
@DivBookstore COLA Good luck!!
Hi, everyone! I see alot of you applied to CNS, COLA, and COE. I also applied to UT to the College of Nursing. Haven’t heard from them as well. I’m beyond terrified because CON is extremely difficult to get in. I do have backups, but UT is my dream school. If anyone can chance me, it’d be great! Thanks! Please let me know if anyone else has applied for nursing, I want your feedback.

I think u should be admitted this summer for sure
Thanks Lalita you to. I did not hear back from UT and I thought they will release another wave of admission decisions around this time. It feels like I’m waiting for a senate bill to pass…
@DivBookstore Thanks! I feel the same LOL keep me update! Hope both of us get in.
@Leezy1724 I applied for nursing, too with similar stats with less LOR. I’m terrified because it’s almost impossible to get into UT nursing via external transfer. On last year’s thread, most nursing candidates didn’t hear back until June 15th. Good luck!!
I know! Good luck to you as We’ll. @supersaiyanhan
Man when will decisions come out…
I am sorry to say that it is almost impossible to transfer to UT as a nursing major. When I came to the admission office, someone showed me the transfer stats. There were only 7/329 applicants admitted.
@scientist89 Well thanks for pressing luck lol cuz I’m already doubting getting in. Sucks that UT isn’t as diverse as I thought.
UT is overwhelmed by liberals, top 7%, and ones admitted by affirmative action already. Even you have high test scores, great essays, or LOR, it is really hard for you to have a chance. Frankly, admission to UT is not based on a merit system.
I wondered why many students who are not good in academics could get in while other qualified students are rejected.
Did you apply to UT, with the same major? If not, then what major?
It’s hard for anyone to get in, and that’s why I’m leaning towards my backup. Yeah, chances are slim, but you don’t know the system specifically so you don’t know how it’ll turn out, lol.
@Leezy1724 I am a Longhorn with majors in biophysics and chemistry already lol
