same here. They send an email to check updated my status, but I still check anyways lol.

Haven’t gotten an email yet today, literally refreshing my email. Applied for School of Nursing so beyond terrified at this point! My heart is racing. 
Are we sure they are releasing a lot of decisions today?

Accepted to McCombs! 
Stats: 3.54 GPA, 5 strong letters of rec, and decent essays. Also I applied as an undergrad from UTD don’t know if this would help my app process.
@bsmith007 Holy god you got accepted to McComb’s? I’m not trying to sound like an ass, but that is an astonishingly low GPA for McComb’s. Congratulations though!!! Was it from Dual Credit? What was your GPA in college?
Im not too worried with a 3.7 gpa for COLA. But I just want to open up My status and see “Congratulations, You are Admitted to the University of Texas At Austin” So its official :-<
Y’all think I have any chance at COLA History second choice with a 3.4 from UTDallas? I saw an old transfer thread and it seemed a lot of people got in with 3.2s-3.3s but now that it’s the last day i’m stressing out a bit

I heard back from COLA a year ago today so a lot of y’all should be getting a decision today

At this point, I just want to see the “Not Admitted” status pop up so I can officially start the grieving process and plan with relative certainty for next year.

I guess on the bright side, the MyStatus page is running really slowly which probably means that they are sending out lots of decisions. Or just tons of people are refreshing it.
Do y’all know when’s the latest u can appeal and do u think summer classes would be considered if I appeal ?

Just called admissions, i’m sure they are getting tired of hearing from me by now. Anyways, they are still on track to have the majority of decisions out by today. In last years transfer thread, the first decision today wasn’t posted until 1:30. McComb’s last year released a TON at around 6:30, so make sure to keep checking!
I think it is likely they are just trimming the fat right now, and really denying the worst ranked applicants from the bottom up. Nobody on here is part of that obviously, so we won’t hear until later in the day.
