2016 Acceptances

@eren2122, flashk is correct - the essays are required (by Dec 15) if you would like to be automatically considered for Pitt scholarships. Otherwise, they are optional. Hope that helps clarify!

@hailtopitt1787 alright thanks!

I submitted my application with essays in oct.
got acceptance letter a couple of weeks later.
I didn’t hear about scholarship but just realized I didn’t explain my ECs in my essays, bc I just answered the short questions. Should I send my resume? Can I submit the essays again?

@akbug73, We don’t require resumes or extracurricular lists, so you should be fine! Feel free to contact our office with any questions: 412-624-7488 or oafa@pitt.edu.

@hailtopitt1787 thanks, that’s why I did not include resume or ECs. But then I read “record of excellence in various academic and nonacademic activities outside of the classroom” … What do you mean record? I have Great ECs but I didn’t mention them all in essays nor my counselor I think. Can I send them now? I really need merit scholarship. What can I do?

@akbug73, I encourage you to contact our office. They will be able to assist you with questions about your specific applicant account.
