@mannysidz - My D received a separate letter for the honors college. She only received the video by email. She was also invited to a guaranteed MS program in engineering and that was by a separate letter as well.
Thank you! I received my letter yesterday and it said that I am eligible for the honors college and will be receiving notification separately for it. I didn’t hear anything about the GAP program though so slightly concerned.
My daughter was accepted, by email and letter, to Pitt and also received a letter regarding guaranteed spot in master’s program of her major. No word about Honor’s College. Could she possibly still get in or would she have known by now. Thanks for your help!!
Did she receive the acceptance and guaranteed spot letters on the same day? My acceptance letter said within the same letter that I had been accepted to both the university itself and the honors college. Not sure about the GAP program still. Any updates would be nice!
The class rank also plays a role.
How can we check for scholarship awards online? or do we have to wait for something to arrive in the mail?

You will be informed via letter if you are selected for any scholarships. The Scholarship Committee has started meeting and they make decisions weekly through February. While some students learn of a scholarship award shortly after being admitted, most students do not found out until much later. Due to the competitiveness, many students go through more than one review before a scholarship decision is made. Bottom line, those students selected to receive a scholarship will find out no later than March 1st. Good luck and thanks for your patience!

How long does it take to receive a letter from financial aid about scholarships after you have been accepted. I submitted my short answers on 10/21.
Got the acceptance email today (11/11)! So excited!
Applied 10/8, Short Answer Submitted 10/15
Marked Complete around 10/26

@hailtopitt1787 I applied back in early September and application was marked complete on 9/16/15. I haven’t heard anything since and I was wondering if this was strange or if anything was wrong. I applied to the college of engineering.
