Accepted and going to September date! Also going to Pomona Sep, Williams Oct, and Wellesley Oct. GPA: 4.25, ACT 35, no rank. Latina from Southern California! I think essays talking about your passion for the school, for learning, for new experiences is more important than high GPA and scores…at least for these colleges!
Apparently Amherst didn’t receive my travel confirmation and days in disqualified?!! I’m am POSITIVE I did the form and sent it in. I’m am so disappointed. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do? I’ve already emailed to let them know I am so sorry and still VERY interested and the office is closed now but I plan to call tomorrow morning.
Call them and explain that you sent the form in. I bet they will be very understanding.
