2016 CSUF Decisions????

So I applied around 11/28/2015 and I haven’t heard from them ever since. Just out of curiosity, who else has been waiting for their decisions and who has already been accepted? Also if anyone else knows when CSUF sends all decisions out, that would be very helpful. Also if you can chance me I would really appreciate it.

They send out transfer decisions first I believe, so don’t be discouraged! You most likely won’t hear back until March.
CSUF was my safe school, I’m still waiting to hear back from SDSU so we are on the same boat!
Best of Luck :slight_smile:

Incoming Freshman

How did you get notified?

I applied with 3.3 updated to 3.5 psychology AAT no word yet

@Powerzing I haven’t gotten anything but a friend of mine has. She said that she got an actual letter in the mail in conjunction with an email (last month). She’s an incoming freshman, by the way.

I sent out my transcripts on Jan 4 and on the portal it still says ‘initiated’ Anybody know how long it takes for them to process transcripts ?
incase this info matters but I am a transfer student from a CC

@StilesStyles Where do u see them on portal ? I cant find my application status :stuck_out_tongue:

@MrAccountant

  1. log into your portal
  2. click titan online which will take you to a new page
  3. on the new page click titan online again (the blue button on the top middle of the page)
  4. click student center
  5. scroll down click application status
  6. there click both “View Detailed Information for this Application” and
    “View All To Do Items”

I just saw that I was emailed a request from CSUF to my CSUF student email for my AAT verification. This was not indicated on my portal, but I found this and I suggest anyone else check your student email. I stopped by the transfer center at my CC recently asking about this verification and they told me not to worry about it and … almost seemed not to know what I was talking about. Has anyone had issues with this ? When I applied for the AAT on my campus website it says it’s been submitted and that’s all, doesn’t seem to have been reviewed and I applied a month ago.

All of my transcripts are in since early Jan portal still says “No Admission Decision has been made yet”. Does anyone know when they start sending out acceptances? I’m a transfer student btw.

@Rawtalent25 I think May 1 for fall 16 applicants

May 1 st ??? I’ve been seeing people report that they were admitted already

I was saying the same thing, I think may 1 the cutoff date they want to let everyone to know by. I got an email saying they have started reviewing app in January too

@Rawtalent25 I received my acceptance in January. I never sent in any transcripts or anything though.

Are you a transfer?? @Oldhopeful

Not sure if you guys are transfers or first time in college but May 1 is National Decision Day for FTF. That’s the hard deadline for all admitted students to submit their enrollment deposit to their school of choice. Many do this sooner, of course. And sometimes the deadline isn’t so “hard” for specific institutions - it all depends. Usually universities will begin admitting off the wait list beginning May 2nd so it’s always best to secure your enrollment by 5/1 at the latest if you intend on attending there.

Don’t forget to notify all other institutions that you will NOT be attending. That’s just good manners and believe me, they appreciate it.

Acceptances to CSUF for fall 2016 freshman admission began in early January. If you have not received an admission or rejection by now it’s best to send in your mid-year transcript. If you have been admitted, most likely you’ll just need to send in your final transcript proving you have graduated and that you have obtained the requisite grades to validate your admission to the CSU system (if such is needed). Look to the instructions on your “To Do” list for further information.

It still says no decision has been made. I’m a transfer, am I likely screwed?

Sorry I just realized that post #17 had the wrong month. Acceptances began in early Dec. not early Jan.
