halflokum, I followed post #113 and that’s where I ended up. This is driving me crazy. Aughhhhhhh…

someone has to call the admission office for some information about this …

under personal info this is what shows up for me:

UCLA Logon: …
Name: …
UCLA ID Number: …
Affiliations: none
Bruin OnLine Supported Services: UCLA Logon ID

Anyone NOT get an ID ?

Did everyone get a number? Mine starts with 304. I have no idea what this means. Guys, too many people on this forum have gotten them. I highly doubt were all accepted. There’s a wait-list this year too. I think the wait-list is going to be fairly large.

At least we know UCLA got the applications lol
Waitlist? Wow… how does that even work?

@dad___Go to the very first post on this thread. Click on the link there. Log in with your daughter’s info there. I would bet anything you’ll see your ID there. There is no info about email nor address on the ID page. Try it.

This is the first year UCLA is using a wait-list, apparently. There’s bound to be bugs in their system. If they don’t get enough applicants accepting their offers of admissions, they will defer to the wait-list starting in mid-may. I heard Santa Barbara accepted the entire wait-list a few years ago. Let’s all remain hopeful.

@bal…that’s exactly what mine looks like. Crazy, isn’t it? I just hope it lets her log in when they are released. We are on the East coast so it will be later here. Do they release all at once or in waves throughout the evening?

We used the UC Ap ID (for all the UC aps) which is 7 numbers, and were able to create a log-in today. Then, the UCLA webpage gave daughter a new unique 9-digit UCLA ID#. Chose a UCLA log-on name (website suggested first initial, then last name) that can NEVER be changed, plus a password, and a question prompt for when you forget your password. After that daughter can use the newly created ucla login with her name & new password. She is allowed web access through both portals now:

MyUCLA, and
URSA online.

From the main menu at URSA online there are alot of links listed. Some are blocked like the financial aid access, where it does not list “view 2012” financial aid as an option, only “view 2011-12” school year financial aid, which obviously was none. When we click on work-study, it shows her a list of available work-study jobs, but at the top of the page her full name is listed in big letters. When we click on “update address information” it shows our home address. When we click on “update contact” it shows her email.

I think she may be accepted, although her new 9-digit UCLA ID# starts with 004, not the other numbers that people have mentioned. Oh well. I guess we’ll find out for sure later tonight, but I think this is very promising.

^ me and my friend both got numbers that started with 004

@tug, so do you use her newly created login to logon? I think it is strange that all of you can see a 9-digit number and I can not. Maybe means rejection?

Does anyone have the word “classmates” on the main myucla page after you login? Its close to the center of the page

dck, you are on the correct screen. The screen you described is the same screen I get for my own personal login ID, not my daughters.

It shows no 9 digit id on mine because I’m not an applicant and when I created one for me to see what it would do, I checked the box titled “I do not have a UCLA Identification Number and I am NONE OF THE ABOVE. Accounts created without a UCLA ID number can be used to authenticate to many UCLA applications, but are not generally eligible to receive campus services.”

The page you’re seeing when you logon looks just like mine.

When you first created the account for your kid, did you use the 7 digit application number and check the box titled “New UCLA Student (including admitted applicants)”?

URSA access seems common, but the MyUCLA access is rather disheartening! Can you offer any details about the page, tug?

use the same login/password you created for access to URSA to login to myucla

but myucla logs me out immediately…hope that does not mean rejection!!!

My brother and sister both didn’t get ID’s ^^. Brother already got into MIT so he doesn’t really care, sister is freaking out; but has a Michigan acceptance.

I just get signed out right after signing in–no view of the main page or anything.

It logs me out 2:/
