Late March. Selected scholars were notified a few days before everyone else.
Hey guys! I attended the Leadership Weekend in 2015, notifications for me came out in the third week of March.

selected to go to Chicago are notified of that as well?
I am one of the 20 National Finalists. I received an email yesterday morning.
@researchgeek, congratulations on making the Top 20 list! I also read that you got accepted to UPENN early decision. I, too, applied to Penn as my #1 choice (regular decision) and hope to meet you there in the fall if I end up getting in. Since I didn’t get an email as a Top 20, I am sure that I won’t be moving on with Elks MVS. Nevertheless, I am beyond grateful to have been a National Finalist. I wish you the best of luck in Chicago next month!
@hsmomof3 Yes, but after the acceptances are sent out. Usually a week or two. Looks like decisions came out already.
I emailed them today and this was the response I got…
"Thank you for your email. National judging is still underway and we will be sending email notifications regarding the top twenty at the end of March or early April.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions."
I received my notification yesterday via email that I was selected as one of the 20 as well 
Has anyone else heard anything?
Can the $1000 scholarships be applied toward room and board or just tuition?
My 2015 award letter said it may go towards the cost of attendance – which would include room and board.
Yeah I’m hoping they still have more winners to announce! regardless being a national finalist is such an honor itself
I emailed them to see if all scholars have been notified. That weekend I have two schools to visit and cannot make final arrangements until I know about Elks weekend.
Let you know what I find out.
