Hi everyoneā¦I actually just started an MVS thread before seeing this one, oops! But donāt worry about the call. I read through all of last yearās thread, and some people had moved on to states without even knowing about districts at all. So I donāt think thereās much to worry aboutā¦yet, haha! Iām from NY, btw 
I also saw that in the past threads! I would like calls or emails either way though so Iām not left wondering but the ultimate goal is definitely becoming a national finalist and getting to become an Elks Scholar! I love all of the different ways they get their Scholars involved and would love so much to be a part of it. Iām hoping I hear back soon and hoping you guys all do too!
@kayleighbrown If you havenāt even received confirmation:Emailed the lady in charge of the entire scholarshipā¦She said lodges are not required to send out confirmation notices until mid-December Hopefully applicants will be hearing back from them soon!
@thefreakshow , wouldnāt today being 12/22 beā¦past mid-December? Also assuming there will not be any emails over the holiday.

@thefreakshow what do you mean the lady in charge of the entire scholarship? Do you mean by lodge, state, or national level? The email for the lodge I submitted to is not valid (I tried emailing it before I ever submitted my application) so I wouldnāt be able to contact them but if you mean by state or national level I will definitely email the person in charge after the holidays. Thanks!

Hey everyone, hereās the email I received this morning:
āWe will send notification emails to applicants the week of January 11 whether or not they advanced to the district level. If you do not hear from our office, then you can follow up with the Lodge directly.ā
This was from a programs assistant at the email that @thefreakshow provided.

@wannabenerd1 @bookmom7 no, it had nothing to do with that. if you read the above comments, youāll see we emailed the scholarship head directly. do not be concerned.

Hi everyone!
So i am applying from Littleton CO, and I still have heard no word on whether I moved on. However, I did receive an email from the local scholarship person of my lodge that told me that if I filled out their local scholarship form (which is basically the exact same stuff as the MVS app) I would most likely receive an award from the lodge.
At first I was really excited, but now Iām wondering if that means I havenāt moved on?
@Coloradogymnast4422 Iām not sure if that means you did or didnāt move on but you could check out the threads for this scholarship in past two years and look for comments from people who were in the same position and see how it turned out for them!
