2017-2018 Production Schedule

Can we start a list of the MT program production schedules for next school year?

There was a list a couple of years ago and it was interesting to see what shows schools were performing and it was helpful for planning visits to specific schools.

Hartt has not completely announced the full season for Fall, but the shows I know are happening are Evita, Urinetown, The Crucible and August:Osage County. They will do 3 musicals and at least 2 plays in the spring, but those are all just rumors at this point.

I’ll play!

Nebraska Wesleyan

1776
Comedy of Errors
Dividing the Estate
Heathers
Dancing at Lughnasa
Christmas Carol
Death of a Salesman
Peter and the Starcatcher
Well
The Bridges of Madison County
She Kills Monsters
Cabaret

List doesn’t include the 4 individual cabarets or the 20+ student produced shows that will be done.

I don’t know Point Park’s full schedule yet, but my daughter said they’re doing 42nd Street and Kiss Me Kate.

Drew is doing Heathers as well!

I have heard the scuttlebutt of what may be Coastal’s season, but since I haven’t seen it officially in writing anywhere, I will wait to share till I actually see it with my own eyes. They are a little late announcing this year, so who knows- might be during the summer!

There are typically 2 student run musicals produced by OCU Stripped (last year were Godspell and Heathers). Those titles have not yet been announced.

There will be a whole season of straight plays as well but they have not yet been announced.
