I don’t think the appeal doc not being on the portal means anything. But just to be sure, does anyone still have that option on their portal? I think it’s just like that for everybody right now because they’re updating the portal for finishing freshmen applications.

I was wondering if anyone on the thread applied to SCA and if so what major did they choose? I heard SCA decisions come out late may early june. I am not sure if that is correct only heard that from someone who got in last year as a regular transfer. Ty

I don’t see the appeal doc in my portal anymore either. I’ve had two dreams in the past week. One was of me being accepted to USC and the other was of me being accepted to UCLA. Let’s hope it turns out that way lol. I’m so nervous

@itslife123 well, from someone who has had many dreams of getting accepted and rejected, let me tell you its horrible when you wake up and realize that getting accepted was a dream and not real, its so depressing hahaha at least if you get rejected, you wake up thinking, “thank God it was just a dream” and you feel relieved haha
but I guess either way, its a struggle
@mellyjune I had dreams of being accepted too but yes it was truly disappointing,
I’m almost certain that the appeal document being removed means absolutely nothing… people did the exact same thing on last years thread, speculated every single detail of the portal when something would change, but it turned out that none of the changes made to the portal were a sign of acceptance. The only for sure sign that occurred last year was an ability to benefit notification that would appear in the financial aid section, everyone who received that was accepted. However, I don’t even think that had begun to show up until mid June, so don’t look too much into it. If you’re waiting on Marshall, it is highly likely that decisions won’t be released until the end of the month at the earliest, and last year Marshall sent out more SGRs than decisions in late April.
@jonathaanv I completely agree, my classes have become a nuisance at this point and I’m just a little more miserable each day when I wake up knowing that there is still the possibility that I could be here again next year. I’m not even a second year CC student, but the commute that I have on M/W/F is heinous lol

@stahboy nope. at least, I haven’t. The general impression I’m getting (from dicussion that has happened earlier in this thread) is that I shouldn’t expect to hear back any time soon either.

dont know why but from the day I submitted the app (Jan 20) to mid-feb I was super nervous/anxious about decisions. Then from mid feb- to April I kinda just stopped thinking about it and was fine. LOL for some reason since the beginning of April that nervousness has come back again, weird af.
@Skepta I’m kind of over caring so much. It’s too stressful. Whatever happens, happens.
