@Transfer510 If nobody really hears by the end of this week, next week (the 24th) should surely be the first batch of decisions. A fair number of applicants hear back in late April.

For those of you asking how hard it is to get into a certain major, for the most part, it’s about the same, especially within schools like Dornsife, it really depends on how impacted your major is - that is how many people are currently in that major and how many people are applying for that major.
The more impacted (the more full) a major is, the harder and more competitive it will be. The numbers change every year because people graduate or switch majors and each applicant pool is different so it is hard to say how hard it is to get into a major.
But it’s definitely super competitive to get into the School of Dramatic Arts, Cinematic Arts, some Marshall and Viterbi majors, more so than Dornsife because in the art schools there are less majors offered and they are more broad. While as in Dornsife, the majors are more split/specific - like there’s a major for psychological and sociology etc.

Does that mean that this week is realistic? I applied to Annenberg, and for the longest time I’ve been absent-mindedly anticipating a decision in late-May. I hope you’re right!!!
