2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

@mkjmkj if it makes you feel any better, I had a 3 week stint living in South Carolina during my senior year (I’m in PA) and even though I wasn’t even there for a month’s worth of school, USC wants my official transcripts sent from their guidance office, so I guess I’m in the same position as you lol

I’m a little confused as to how to know what documents USC has received through the portal? On the home page, it says “we require no additional information at this time”. Where do I check whether they got my transcripts and all?

Under “Submit application documents”. Basically the received and required documents show what you they have/you need to send.

Does anyone know if there is a verification that says USC received our FAFSA and CSS under the youSC portal?

Hmm, so 1 out of 3 of my transcripts were just updated. Does the bullet points listed under Received Documents mean they have it on file? I always thought I had to see some kind of green check mark when it was received

@IwcWombat I’m 99% sure received documents means that they have it

But I haven’t been through this process before idk for sure

:slight_smile:

Hello! I am applying to Marshall as a sophomore. I have a 3.94 and have met all math/english requirements. I am on the finance committee at my CC, member of the honors society, have a job, letters of rec. etc… I was just wondering what my chances were since I am applying a year early! Best of luck everyone!

@srubien your admission would likely come down to how many GE’s you’ve completed. I’d say that 4 or more is a good number to have applying as a sophomore. If you’ve got that, I think you’ll have a pretty good chance. Good luck!

Hey guys I’m currently a freshman applying to Dornsife College as a sophomore. I have a 3.93 GPA and I will have fulfilled 5-7 GE’s (Depending on the Articulation Office). What do you guys think about my chances of getting in to USC?

Applying to USC to the Bachelor of Arts in Theatre program. Currently at a Community College in Texas. I have a 4.0 GPA, and I think by the end of the spring semester I’ll have fulfilled 6-7 GE requirements. My high school GPA was pretty bad, so I’m hoping the steps I’ve taken this year towards having a solid college academic record will help.

@ejsutton2006 good chance because of the GEs and GPA. Good luck!

@katienewsom24 if you’ve got 30 or more transferable credits, they won’t even consider your HS grades or test scores. If that’s the case, I’d say you have a pretty good shot. Good luck!

Hey everyone! Is anyone applying in the USC TTP program?

@USCfan1 I am ! (:

Does anyone else’s portal show that they are still missing college transcripts?? I sent mine a while ago and still shows missing
